ORDER

As per the GOs read above the total no of days spent by the teaching staff for valuation and Tabulation of SSLC and Higher Secondary Public Examination during mid summer vacation has been  treated as duty.But this decision has not been incorporated in Kerala Service Rules.Accordingly,Govt are pleased to issue the following Ruling under the Rule 81 Part I Kerala Service Rules.

Ruling No 4/98

Teaching Staff attending the work of valuation and Tabulation of SSLC  and  Higher Secondary Public Examination during vacation shall be considered to have been prevented from availing themselves of the vacation and such period will be treated as duty and allowed the benefit of earned leave under the rule.
